About Moroccan Brocade
Our family’s passion for crafts has been passed down from generation to generation. Today, we are the third generation to hold the torch of Moroccan craftsmanship.
More than a vocation, our aim is :
– to preserve ancestral traditional know-how
– to showcase traditional Moroccan handicrafts.
From north to south, east to west, from the Rif mountains to the Sahara desert, via the Atlas mountains, we work with artisans who use authentic products, noble materials, respect for the environment and traditional techniques.
We adhere to a code of ethics that promotes fair trade, guaranteeing our craftsmen fair remuneration for their work, enabling them to live with dignity and ensuring the viability of their craft.
Each piece is authentic, each rug tells a story: the whole reflects the beauty, richness and generosity of Moroccan culture as a whole.
Welcome to Moroccan Brocade!
When you visit Moroccan Brocade, you’ll get to know our craftsmen and see some of our weaving machines, which are over seventy years old.
The machines can be set up vertically or horizontally, depending on the purpose for which they are to be used: carpets, bedspreads, pillows and so on.
The machines in our store are specially dedicated to making bedspreads and pillows.
The process uses ancestral weaving techniques that our craftsmen have mastered, such as Aztta (traditional weaving) or tapestry.
We and our craftsmen buy the wool directly, to guarantee the quality, yarns and dyes needed to produce our handcrafted products.
